Chapter Twelve

FIGHT AT THE GARDENS

“Azrael is furious because he may never be able re-enter Heaven. His vengeance will be taken on man. According to Azrael, if he can’t re-enter Heaven, then neither will Man. He is determined to destroy their souls.”

Uri’s words haunted me. Osmont or Azrael or whatever his name was, would be capable of creating so much human destruction, even in the afterlife. He had to be stopped. That is why Michael was there; Michael was the strongest, most powerful, smartest and the holiest of all Angels. He defeated Lucifer and cast him out of Heaven. According to Uri, Michael was Gods appointed right hand man and therefore the closest link back to God. This was going too big to even fathom this idea. I was scared to death.

SOG was still playing and the lead singer, Suriel, was watching every move Uri made. Uri and I moved to the other side of the fountain and Suriel’s eyes followed us. The rest of the guys in the band also followed suit, as if they had been alerted. They were able to keep playing and singing while being on the brink to strike.

“Nena and Uri! How nice to see you both!” Osmont came out of nowhere. He was dressed so fine; his hair was perfect; his face was perfect and his body was perfect; he looked like a celebrity.

“Hello, Osmont.” Uri glared at him.

“Don’t look at me like that, Uri, people may get the wrong idea!” he chuckled. Then he looked at me and declared, “Nena! Whoa girl! Aren’t you a vision! Uri certainly does good work! I told you!” he shouted.

Then he leaned into me and out of nowhere just said, “Did you ever take a crap so good that your pants fit better? Well, I wish I could right now!” He laughed so loud to his gang ho laughed right along with him. He was such an ass! We did not find him funny at all. Osmont cleared his throat and approached Uri. “Don’t think that I don’t know about your meeting with Raffaella! I know what you two are planning to do! Didn’t I say to stay out of my business?”

“Osmont! You of all people know that what you are planning goes against all our laws, both in Heaven and on Earth! Aren’t you considering the consequences?”

“Consequences? Uri, I am a walking and living consequence! I no longer have anything to lose!” Osmont crudely shouted.

“Osmont… please, old brother, you do have a choice,” Uri pleaded and extended his right arm to him. Osmont quickly knocked Uri’s arm out of the way and took a step back.

Immediately after, two of Osmont’s men lunged after Uri. Uri quickly flew up to avoid them. One of them fell to the ground as he lost his balance and the other missed him altogether. The band of angels stopped their playing and lunged forth to Osmont’s henchmen; they were practically flying at them! Zachriel and Diniel took hold of the one that went after Uri and Suriel and Amitiel went after Osmont.
